WELCOME TO MY MAINVISION PAGES where you can download Image Processor scripts and read tutorials.

I'VE BEEN WORKING WITH MAINVISION since way back when it was still called Axogon Composer and let me tell you I haven't found a tool quite like it. This ain't no simple editor with a few tricks thrown in (if you're a user you already know that). With this puppy if you're willing to do the legwork you can create some really unique and awesome effects. Only problem is I found there to be a pretty steep learning curve and I'd be overstating things if I said there were lots of sites and tutorials out there dedicated to it. I've seen a couple and now there's one more, mine.

NAVIGATING THE SITE IS PRETTY SIMPLE seeing as there aren't many pages for the moment. You've got this panel with info and tutorial links, a panel for the scripts, one with some final words at the bottom and links panels on the left. After you get through downloading everything you need you might want to check out a couple of those links. The ones up top are video or graphic business related and below are links for more of my personal pages. If you're on a tutorial page and need to return here just click the "Benjammin's MainVison Pages" logo at the top.

THE IMAGE PROCESSOR SCRIPTS can be found in the section immediately below. Some are ones I use regularly and others are hacks that while usable are also good jumping off points for modification. I've tried to comment them so you can see what I've done if twiddling is in your blood, otherwise they're usable as is. Clicking on a thumbnail will download a zip of the scripts from that sub-section. Clicking on Description will bring up a JavaScript alert box with info on the contents. Most also have some very short (and simple) mpegs that demonstrate the effects. You can get them by clicking the buttons on the right. Enjoy.

WELL THAT'S THE START OF IT and I hope to be adding more as time allows. I had mentioned above that finding information on using MainVision was a little thin webwise. I'm sure many of us have come up with things that aren't in the manual but get stuck on other problems. Then've gone off and googled only to find pretty much what I've found. So to put an end to that I'm offering to supply the webspace if any of you would like to write MainVision tutorials or scripts to put on this site. Or if you've already got pages that are dedicated in some way to MainVision and would like to do a link exchange let me know.
